A year ago today, we launched The Growly Books series, and the first copies of Begin went out on their own little adventures. It’s been a fun, crazy ride since then, and we feel like we’ve been on an adventure, too. In November 2013, we released the second book, Widewater, and have been working on the third book ever since.
The biggest question we’ve been asked all along is …
how does the story end?
So it’s really exciting for us to announce today, on Growly’s birthday, that book three is right around the corner. It’s called Morning, and it will be available on June 10. Even though we had a plan for how the trilogy would end before we started writing Begin, there were a lot of surprises for us as we wrote this third book—new characters, challenges, and a whole backpack full of adventure. And of course there are more beautiful illustrations from the amazing Annie Barnett.
Plans for release week are underway, so watch for more announcements as the day grows closer!
If you haven’t read Begin and Widewater yet, you can purchase them in our store or at Amazon.

I am so excited! My boys and I LOVE these books and have been dying to find out if they make it back home. My boys have been creating plans on how they would get back up the precipice.

Yay! My sister has gotten the first 2 as they came out for my 7-year-old. As she reads the books, she keeps saying, “I keep hanging on the cliff.” I’m assuming she means there are cliffhangers. :p She will be excited to finish the trilogy.

Oh, that is priceless! There are definitely cliffhangers along the way! 🙂
